About Ramsey View

Ramsey View is a duplex in Llanunwas, a large Georgian house which was once part of a 400 year old estate. It has been finished to a high standard throughout and comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with the windows and high ceilings making it feel light and airy. With your own front door and large entrance hall, there is plenty of space to store bikes or walking gear. The open plan living space has a modern fitted kitchen, while the lounge with comfy seating is perfect for cosying up on chillier evenings, the dual aspect makes the most of the wonderful sea views out over St Brides Bay. The spacious master bedroom enjoys the same dual aspect and is a wonderful romantic retreat - soak up the panoramic views to Ramsey Island and St Davids headland, 2 further cosy bedrooms complete Ramsey View.

Set in extensive, communal lawned grounds there is plenty of space for children to play or to enjoy a relaxing alfresco meal while you soak up the glorious views over the cliff tops and out to sea over St Brides Bay. St Davids with its historic cathedral and excellent facilities is only a short car journey away or why not join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which is approximately 400 yards away and follow the cliff top walkround past Caerfai Bay and St Nons. The picturesque harbour village of Solva is within walking distance, enjoy wandering the upper and lower parts of the town with its shops, galleries and excellent pubs.

Approaching the properties via the woodland driveway, Llanunwas offers it all with breathtaking sea views across St Brides Bay.

Llanunwas, translates as ‘church of the one servant’, and has been tastefully restored to 7 apartments and 2 cottages with many traditional stone and slate features having been retained, both internally and externally around the properties. The property is approached via an A-road. There is parking for one car for Ramsey View in a communal car park. There is a bus-stop (sheltered) 70 metres from the end of the drive served by a good service all the year round to St Davids and to Haverfordwest. During Spring and Summer, services are especially frequent allowing access to many points along the coastal path especially handy for walkers. Access to the bus stop however is via a short stretch of road without a pavement. Therefore, bright clothing (and a light at night) along with due caution is recommended. Access to Ramsey View is via one step up (approximately 20cm) followed by another two steps down (approx 15cm each) and further on, another two steps up (approx 10cm) and two down, before reaching the front door where there is one small step up into the hall. There is outside lighting which can be switched on from just inside the front door. There is no on-site assistance available with luggage. It is suggested that keys are placed in the same place where found when visitors go out, as a fee including call-out charge will have to be charged if a replacement key is needed. Please note that there are external stairs at Wood Cottage (on the right from the car park) leading now to the bedroom window that are uneven and potentially hazardous. Please supervise young children who may play in this area. The garden with its magnificent sea views is fairly level. There is also a gravelled area and a wooded area available, all of which are reached via a maximum of two steps. All areas indoors are well lit and white or brightly decorated. Downstairs there is lounge and kitchen/diner all level with no steps. Kitchen/diner is well lit with down lighting to food preparation and eating area. There is a downstairs WC with no steps. Access to the first floor is via a straight flight of standard stairs with handrail. All bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs again all on one level with no steps. The overhead shower is inside in bath. Guide dogs are welcome. Mobile phone reception can fluctuate and is dependent on telephone carrier.
